Lubumba Community Church is located on the Eagles Wings Children’s Village property. A service is held every Sunday morning. The service typically includes singing, praying, Bible reading, and a message. The live-in students, their house parents, and people from the neighbouring village attend this service.
Allan Kisakye is the pastor of Lubumba Community Church. In addition to giving Sunday service messages, Allan counsel children and youth. Along with the assistant pastor, Allan leads a weekly discipleship class for the EWCV staff. Allan is also the vice chairman for a local association of pastors, and he is their lead doctrinal teacher.
Allan studied, first of all, at Kampala University. He became a social worker and served at EWCV, in that capacity, from 2005-2012. (He continues to work closely with EWCV’s present social workers.) To become a pastor, Allan studied at Charis Bible College in Kampala for two years. He has been the lead pastor of Lubumba Community Church since 2012. After becoming a pastor, Allan attended New Hope Uganda Pastors’ Training Institute for three years.

Along with Pastor Allan, Jonathan leads a weekly discipleship course for the EWCV staff. Jonathan studied at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
On special occasions, EWCV children sing for the church congregation.
