Ali Ssebirumbi

Ali is 16 years old. He is in Senior Two at Eagles Wings High School. Ali is clever, hardworking, and very respectful to his elders. He lost his father in 2014 when he was 11 years old. Ali was left in the care of his maternal grandmother. Unfortunately, his grandmother also passed away. His maternal aunt came and picked him up, willingly promising to take care of Ali. Being a bright boy, he wished to study but his aunt failed to fulfill her promise. Ali decided to do some simple work to earn some money to pay for his school needs by working in the evenings after school time, up to when he completed primary school with a first grade. His aunt became jealous of his performance. She decided to go away from him and told him to find somewhere else to stay. Ali was taken in by a foster parent who is volunteering to offer him accommodation. He has now come to Eagles Wings Children’s village, with his fist grade and all the certificates he had acquired from his former school for being the best athlete, to find out if he can be given access education.
Our social worker, Uncle Peter, was very impressed by Ali’s initiative and hard work and recommended him to the head teacher at Eagles Wings High School. Ali was admitted to Senior One and has proven to be a good boy who needs extra support to achieve a bright future. Please make a lasting difference in Ali’s life by sponsoring him!
